The argument you will hear is the recipients will need that equity fo borrow against to keep farming.
I haven't conceptionalized the thoughts fully yet, but inconclusively "high taxes create high incomes" also "high cost drives high production". If you didn't have need to be productive, productivity becomes a secondary thought. Entitlement drives stagnation unless a force acts upon it. | |
