South Central MN | Exactly. Blows my mind how one side of the healthy/environmental market is all-natural, organic, non-processed, non-gmo, while the other side of the same coin is all-processed, 100% synthetic, full of gmo, and people are eating it all up. People keep complaining about factory farms, and then turn around and buy food that can literally only be produced in a factory. I say all this as a guy who raises organic crops but am not about to critique conventional farmers. We all have to find our own markets. That being said, the fact that this guy can call his processed mush "meat" is insulting to all farmers everywhere, whether they are organic or conventional.
There are far, far bigger polluters than ag and animal husbandry, but they are going to go after us first because they outnumber us so we are easy pickings. | |
