I personally know of 2200 acres of vegetables that the farmers are not planting this year. Some due to over regulation and some due to being tired.
I am told in Canada farm worker housing will be at 50% occupancy due to COVID-19. So the Canadian vegetable farmer will need to find more housing or grow less produce.
Alrighty then. Let’s just bus ALL those caravans of people from Central America right straight to Canada. That would solve a couple of problems. |
