Subject: Pipeline

Just a couple questions. Heard Canada has over $9 billon in the pipeline that was put on hold. A pipeline to carry oil from Canada to refineries in the gulf. Isn’t the Canadian oil company footing the bill of the construction workers recently laid off building the pipeline ( sub contracted) or is it strictly US subcontractors money?
If it is strictly US subcontractors money, they are eligible for unemployment PLUS an additional $300 ( passed  in December)which possibly could be an additional $600 Instead of $300 if Biden gets his aid bundle passed. With this aid I knew of workers that were making more than their counterparts, at the same jobs, NOT laid off. MAKING MORE NOT TO WORK!!!! Asinine! Don’t get me wrong, unemployment sucks, but the past administration and now this one seems to make it not that big of deal.
Does Canada have enough money in the construction end of it, that for some stupid reason, these recently laid off US pipeline workers will not qualify for unemployment because of some legal loophole???
