They probably don’t have the budget to purchase that far ahead.

Kinda the same train of thought of a bank financing a farmer to buy 3-4 year worth of fertilizer when it’s cheap, yet also loan them operating money for 3-4 years because grain is cheap at the time also then store it unhedged?

Don’t elevators have to have like 90% of their bushels hedged to typically secure LOC?
