| Have you ever tried to trade ethanol futures? There are not really any speculators in ethanol and the volume is very low so it can be easy to have someone pinch you. Ethanol futures really don't work for locking in a profit. I am not sure if there is even a delivery spot for the actual product. I am guessing that a lot of the plants have people just as smart as you that are doing their best to keep the plants running profitable. If you get sick of guys complaining that ethanol is losing money do you also get sick of farmers complaining that commodity prices are too low? Especially when they had opportunities to lock in high prides. | |
