| Most plants around me are slowing production down. It is pretty costly to completely shut down so I am guessing most plants are planning to keep producing, just at a slower pace. I am surprised that they haven't widened their basis. The plants that I sell to have widened about 10 to 15 cents in the last month. With an inverted market maybe they have to pay a little better basis further out so that guys will sell in deferred months instead of the nearby cash market. I thnk all plants take a little different plan of attack when it comes to negative margins. | |
