Here's some facts for you .
The area you promote were all part of t he former USSR from 1972 until 1978 the time frame that the Nixon and Ford embargoes acres in production went up 7 milli on acres from 1979 to 1988 acres in production in the USSR went down 5.5 million acres. So no the Carter embargo did not increase Russian acres.
