How does shorting lead to bankruptcy? Harder for the company get financing?
I’m not against shorting a stock as much as I am against hedge fund/vulture fund buying a faltering company and then loading it with debt before declaring bankruptcy and taking their golden payments parachutes from a company they dug a deep hole and abused the corpse before burying.
