Never seen a lending institution more willing to loan money to there own employees. I know in my area a couple of the most aggressive buyers are also lenders for farm credit. Not judging at all it’s there right, but still a bit odd.
Farm Credit employees I know that farm, don't borrow their money from Farm Credit. They borrow from a bank. Because of the amount of hoop jumping they would have to do if they borrowed from Farm Credit.
Know another guy that is an Ag lender @ a bank that farms, He deals with Farm Credit , instead of the bank he works at. |
