| IALTO - 1/28/2021 18:55 Nobody knows because it is a fantasy right now. California can't keep their power on during a heat wave but I'm sure they can accommodate 10 million cars charging every night. How long will it take to build the infrastructure to support a fleet of electric cars? How much time. How much will it cost each taxpayer in the way of government having to subsidize a lot of it because it's not economical otherwise?
Something that almost always goes unaddressed in their fantasies is that wind and solar power both need backup generation. Backup generation is almost always done with natural gas.
Natural gas is cheap because it is a by product of oil. Quit using oil, say bye bye to cheap natural gas.
