No, I voted against your Moron in Chief Trump. Pure and simple. The idea of electric cars is somewhat fascinating but I'm afraid quite impractical. We can most certainly upgrade the grid and construct charging infrastructure over time to handle the load of electric vehicles but the matter of mining enough material to manufacture those batteries and recycling or disposing of them when worn out is what is an impractical matter. Mining can be a very messy business in and of itself and disposing of that much used up material is going to be tough. I just don't see that big of a net gain environmentally by going to all electric. The technology is changing almost weekly on electric vehicles. I drove a friend's Tesla a few months back and I have to say it was quite impressive. I was shocked by the acceleration. I just don't think we will be doing the environment any big favors by going completely away from ICE.
