Central Illinois | Hey Carlson, what is your strategy on new crop corn that will be fed, most is homegrown, have to buy a few extra bushels. I don’t know if they should be treated any differently in all reality though. Straight futures? I don’t even know if an elevator would sell fall corn right now with the spread. I’ve tried call options to protect feed costs before and just added to my final feed cost in the 2019 spring fiasco. | |
