Southern MN | The truth is there is probably very few in government that understand it. Government does not attract smart people. That is why I don’t like big government. Someone who in the real world that could barely make ends meet in real life can be very successful in govt and makes decisions that affect the rest of us. I always asks people such as yourself that want expanded govt what govt does so well that you want more of it in every facet of your life. Never have received a real answer. Have an uncle and a friend retired from govt, one high up at federal level in DC one with a fairly small part of state govt. both can tell nonstop stories about the inept people they worked with their entire careers. Same happens in private business to a degree but tends to get snuffed out in time, in govt it is promoted. | |
