Southern MN | Obviously. You play within the system you are in. With no government welfare rents,inputs, farm size, would all be different. Kind of debating with yourself. Government gets more involved with more aspects of your life it is impossible for the individual with hard work, more smarts, etc to be self sufficient. You want to be a sheep, and your arguments pretty much prove my point.
I use the government programs that apply to me. Don’t like it but they are the rules that are thrust upon me. I have zero doubt that I and my family would have done better without the government involvement if no one was getting any help. Kind of like my son who had to write his college papers from a left wing point of view to keep his scholarships. 1st semester got a C and a D on his first two papers written in support of conservative ideas. Graduated with a 4.07 so he played within the system he was given.
