A lot of Alberta is po'ed about the cancellation of Keystone XL as well, for the same reasons. The town on Jon's map, Hardisty, is about 25 miles from my farm and the terminus of many smaller Alberta pipelines, and home to a massive tank farm. Check it out on google earth. Work will still go on there, but hundreds of long-term jobs vanished on Jan 21.
