Champaign, IL | I bought 40 acres of forests property from Weyerhaeuser in Marquette County, MI. The sale contract had the typical ferrous, non ferrous minerals and gravel rights removed. Then I received an addendum that removed any and all types of hydro carbons rights from the sale. I didn’t know that the UP was a hotbed of oil and gas deposits. They also had the cutting rights. Not one of my best purchases. | |
