Dry here but we do finally have some snow cover. Supposed to be cold most of this month so that will help.
I was on a zoom meeting today and the state climatologist thinks it will continue dry into spring but maybe moderate this summer.
The snowpack in the Rockies is very low which is not good for us later on as that causes us on the Plains to warm up too quickly. But, the mountains tend to get most of their snow in March and April. We'll be watching that.
The sought map has us in extreme drought and we are.
I'm assuming that was Al Dutcher? Happen to have an archive of that zoom that can be shared? |
