Southern Illinois | I am seeing some crazy basis levels at river terminals in St. Louis, especially for Soybeans. Trying to make sense and determine if I should be locking in some summer delivery basis and harvest delivery basis as these levels. It seems like the commercials are really needing physical delivery of bushels in summer and in harvest and so they are trying to counteract the inverted futures market by narrowing the basis. What is everyone else's thoughts here?
