NW MN | Just remember the only way you could deduct the full 1% from the rate is if they didn't charge you for it in the first place. Since they collect the interest and hold it for a time period and then give it back to you based on an average daily balance for the previous year the net effect of a 1% dividend is not lowering your rate exactly that amount. It is somewhat less and dependent on your specific situation. | |
