What are current rates.
Had a few people tell me yesterday that the current rate for 15 years locked in is 2%
I said bs, was I wrong? I would guess 3.5 but have no idea
Everybody’s gonna have different interest rate, depending how much down to the % of appraisal value, how many dollars are involved, how much equity have otherwise and what’s your track record for making payments on time or falling behind from time to time.
Example; not much equity wants a 40 with only 30% down on appraisal not gonna get a break on interest rate. On the other hand if have track record of paying off big loans that are payed for or close to it, and want to borrow 100% of appraisal on 120 with pile of equity to back it up, lenders will trip over themselves with cheap interest rates.
