Deere stock has paid a quarterly dividend since I owned it. It used to be in the 2% range but now is really dragging because of the high price. Last year only about 1/2%. The main point of my post is how strong Deere has become. Living not too far from Peoria, Cat has always been a favorite blue chip company of mine. My brother was an intern engineer there one summer.
