for the original poster.... Batteries will last 1 million miles. They have came along way even in last 2 years.
For those saying mines are bad... 1st, people say that about nearly everything. Fracking is bad for the environment, tar sands oil is bad, the new dairy up the road is bad for the environment, growing corn is bad for the environment.... People will say what fits there agenda
It's not going to be the green people only switching to electric vehicles. The switch will be driven because it's a more economical choice, with a lower cost per mile. Also, as far as tesla's go, a much safer car as well.
FYI, the newest battery tesla is producing does not use cobalt anymore, so that's one less thing to mine. |
