The reason EV’s have skyrocketed is because of consumer demand. Companies don’t produce something that no one wants because they will go bankrupt. Yes I agree we shouldn’t have a single source of energy including oil and gas. Competition is good for all of us. If EVs are mandated now please show me.
The oil and gas industry wants you to believe that EV,s will be mandated and the gas vehicles will no longer be sold which is an absolute lie. All sources will be required. The oil and gas will just be less of the total and they cry like a bunch of babies becuase they are losing a little market share and have to compete with another energy source. They’ve gotten their way for 100 years and things are changing now
Guess you never heard of CAFE?
There’s a reason gm / Ford / etc buy and resell or make little high mpg econo boxes at a loss.
