Subject: Heifferets

What would you do? Have about 20 heifferets, should be 2nd calvers. As heifers had the best maternal traits I've saw outta heifers. Had an average of 490# calves at weaning. Had them with a bull for 90 days, after preg checking, checked the bull. He went bad, 2 1/2 year old bull, very low count. Was great the year before.
The other group of 20 bred back fine with a different bull.
Do I keep them or sell? In good shape, probably 1000-1100#s. Not the cows fault they didn't breed back...
Market is hot for weight ups here, but feeders are too and most predict it to stay strong for another year or 2.
Opinions?
