I've been posting about our program for killing ARG https://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=1156452&posts=...

some pics " expected regrowth" last few days ARG went from looking Mostly dead to living good

Soybeans planted about 10 days sprayed about April 1 with 1 Qt Germoxone ETC the link tells all

If we had Corn planted we would be spraying next few days
Thinking we can wait to do spraying with Soybeans just necking through hopefully more weed seeds will germinate
Our planned Glyphosate application 30 days after Germoxone should finish everything off "Hopefully"
used 1 tote (about 1000 Acre worth) of Germoxone then it was weather correct to use Glyphosate

Don't know what to think YET Comments ?????
Keeps the neighbors talking

Dan

Pics coming I'm color blind So doesn't look too bad to me :-)
I'm not even sure if I got all the right pics My SIL partner says it looks a pasture :-)
He is not impressed

You’re right on track based on my experience. Roundup should finish it off without a problem now.

Matt I was hoping you chimed in -----About what I expected on regrowth BUT it's a little scary fast as ARG can go from a little color left to pasture looking
We think we like having ARG green back up on our more rolling hills after knocking it back with the Gramoxone (keeps erosion a month or so farther at bay) and the ARG doesn't get so big it's hard to deal with
We were spraying the Gramoxone when weather was not right to use Roundup I think the Gramoxone did what we needed
ARG we waited and sprayed when weather was "right" to use Gly is much bigger IMO a little too much biomass to deal with especially if planting corn

I'll keep posting pics---definitely a learning experience --After watching your post about ARG I think for our soils ARG is a very good product we just need to learn to manage it

Thanks Matt for your input -- I'm enjoying the neighbors thinking we screwed up--"looks like you didn't get a kill"

Dan
