NE South Dakota Clark, SD | I use yield data to set realistic yield goals for zones created from aerial and satellite imagery. There are a lot less mechanical and operator errors in imagery. I can see from the imagery that you posted that you have variability. Yield data would tell you how much it varies. We also zone soil sample and create fertilizer and seeding prescriptions based on yield goals. |
