Central Indiana | If it’s as hairy as some of ours is this spring I’d get on it sooner than later. 48 hours should be enough for the plant to take it into the leaf structure and start the process of death. We find that damaging the weed then spraying is typically when you have issues with weeds not dying completely or at all. 2 days should be fine as the weed has already metabolized the chemical and is on its way out. I’d just check your planting restrictions on all the chemicals twice to make sure you don’t have emergence issues and go after it. Doesn’t sound like it’s going to get any drier next week here! Get that ground opened up and plant. Be prepared for the planter to sink filled loaded on that inline ripped ground. Ends will be a little rough crossing! Good luck | |
