I'm assuming your planted has airbag downforce? Active or manual control?

With active air downforce I've got margin set at 90 in worked ground but have only run one day before getting rained off. I've gotten off the tractor and checked the gauge wheels multiple times and seem to have good contact. Whatever you do, you want to err on the side of too much downforce, not too little. Too much has a very minor impact on yield. Too little can have a huge impact on yield.

I'm not a big fan of Deere's active pneumatic system. Precision's Airforce is much better at providing useful information and active control. I can see why the Deere guys go to hydraulic downforce. Neither company is investing any more effort in improving their pneumatic systems since hydraulic came on the scene.
