It looks like 2018,19 and 2016,17 had a similar carryover at one point in those years. I don't remember corn being over $5.00 then. This is killing ethanol demand already so I don't know where you come up with corn being too cheap now unless USDA is still way wrong. Betting against USDA has not paid very good the last few years until now. which
What matters is the carry over in January is much lower than those other years and the trend from those years was actually up. This trend is down. It looks a lot like January 2013. |
