South Central Manitoba | I don't know what would determine what is "hyper inflation" but obviously I think most agree we are heading into an inflationary period of some kind. The recent rise in commodities may have as much to do with inflation as anything. What I don't understand is why are interest rates so low and staying low? Can central banks keep interest rates low if inflation can be sort of hidden or is it eventually impossible to keep this charade going? If interest rates rise, even if they don't go completely 1980s things would get messy quick. | |
