Hope they drop 50 %
I hope you are saying that tognue in cheel sarcasm as others are saying 'wish land mkt. /grains would crash so I could buy' .......reality is if land/housing was to drop 50% or interest rates increase by 50% it would get ugly real fast.........and , if its like '80's the only land that sells at a big discount is some of the forced sales as nobody is wanting/willing to sell for less than the previous sale in there neighborhood......
In my little area land prices are driven by guys selling to greenhouses for 2-3x mkt. value and then replacing that land ,or greenhouse /investors buying it.....No new farm families cash cropping for a generation or 2...
Rents driven by big guys wanting to be biggest and since you can't buy land and want to farm either pay rents asked or get a job....
