Agricultural workers must be paid the minimum wage if the employer hires more than 500 hours of labor a year. Ag employers are exempt from the overtime rule though.
In most parts of the country, you have to pay more than $15 dollars already, because people can earn that working at most fast food places. Might be able to hire some young kid to work for less, but how much time do you need to spend babysitting them.
