I believe it. Two local projects...a dog pound and replacing a river bridge for a bicycle trail, were both estimated two or three years ago...pound for $500,000 and trail for $400,000. When they finally get ducks in a row, with both being govt projects, actual pound bid came in at $1.1 million, bridge at 930 K. Both absolutely ridiculous. But I think this is where we are headed with all the frivolous govt spending. Inflation.
