sw ontario | Raising minimun wage is bad as it will raise cost of everything.= bad
C,B, W going way up =good
Canada having carbon tax on energy to help environment=bad
Ethanol mandates/previous subsidies for renewable energy/clean air=good
The list goes on ,we won't even talk about comparing single Mom's to farm subsidies
All of us see most things through what truly affects us , we had a big jump in minimun wahe a couple yrs. ago , didn't really see much price change and like somebody mentioned in another post a decent minimun wage makes the farms that use mostly 'family' labor more competitive with the 'big' farms all depending on low wage help.
And it drives innovation and technology.....Every area will be different but minimun wages would be hard to live on. | |
