Kolorado
I'm kindda close to there, but don't know the scoop.

Obviously built up a real nice place, but he wasn't one of the names you hear for BTO's in the area.

Should be really nice, high yielding irrigated for the area. Kansas is the toughest for groundwater rules out of all the states under the aquifer, and would be a little nervous spending millions on irrigated ground and having to worry how long you'll be able to pump water.

If it was next to me, i'm sure i'd be bidding. But coming in from out of state and buying a huge chunk, don't think i'd go there. Probably being paranoid on the water rights, as it's about all the state has going for it, but direction the country is headed isn't very ag friendly.
