Subject: RE: Crop insurance, planting day

North Central Illinois
Here's my take and personal choice on the matter. There's crops I grow without insurance and those that I do. If I think it is in my best interest to break the insurability rules I'll do that and be honest with my agent about it.

Planting earlier than the crop insurance date just means that you don't have replant coverage.

If you don't want to take out crop insurance at all, that's totally fine.
