Most "poor" are getting far more than $2000. I know some that get north of $30K. One pushes $60 with a ridiculous disability claim of PTSD for childbirth.
I wish all farm payments would stop. I have no doubt I'll make it through hard work and it will make us more competitive. At least we produce for the economy. What I receive from the govt is minor compared to my entire contribution to the economy.
