Friend of mine years ago had their 4840 on the generator for a few days one winter.
he said he was never so glad to finally shut that tractor down as he was that time.
Wonder if he was running the engine wide open or at half throttle?
A 4840 should have about 80 horse on the PTO at 1100 engine rpm, which should be enough to power a 25Kw generator. Need a 540 gearbox on the generator and the adaptor on the tractor.
