If only there were was to store electricity... ah but also! How are people producing their own causing increases in prices? Why would we want to rely on diminishing fossil fuel power sources, rather than electricity that can be produced a plethora of different ways, and can be produced on small scales?


Like batteries? That are extremely expensive and will require multiple replacements?

It happens because as more people produce their own, less money is going to the power generation plants. Therefore, the plant has to charge more to keep operating. Local REA says rolling blackouts may be necessary in the future.

Electric is not bad, but it needs to be one of many OPTIONS. Putting all our eggs in one basket for energy needs is an extremely terrible idea. And its not as "green" as advertised. We have other sources of energy besides fossil fuels and electricity. But the greenies hate everything but electric.
