Agree this is where some glyphosate tie up is occurring by using untreated water to transfer glyphosate to the sprayer tank that is treated with ams. I use soften water. It has greatly reduced calcium level but the sodium level increases slightly in the softened water. I don't know what the implications of this are. Only way to address this is to put glyphosate directly into sprayer or hotload tank, or pretreatment of supply tank which I feel is done somewhat by the water softener system. There is a guy dr brown that is on here sometime and has studied this in depth. Hopefully he can comment on here about this.
