Okay, but how long until you get that 1-1.5% back? A lot of them are 7+ years out before you get all of it. They advance about 20-30% (because they report it as taxable income), and the rest is rolled out several years later. I get interest is cheap and getting something back is way better than getting nothing back, but you have to factor time into the equation as well. The wait could be a "here" thing though. We don't have rates near that low any time I have checked with farm credit and they won't go past 20 years. Although, we also aren't in the land of 10k plus an acre land.
