| I agree that it is a great option where it fits. More and more operators are switching to it in this area. It works really good when you can knife in hog manure then plant on that strip in the spring. We have mostly 2-5% slopes so strip erosion is not a big problem here. I can see how it could get ugly if you have steep hillsides.
I’ve been doing it since around 2007 and love it. I won’t change unless I absolutely have to for some reason. | |
