Most people doing this are using Deitrich knives on the manure tanks. Several of us are thinking about switching to something different for manure banding.
Everyone here uses a strip freshener in the spring. Some use the Rawson triple coulter system as they plant. Some of us make a separate trip 1-2 days ahead of the planter.
