NW MN | I think that’s more then fair government spending in the 70s ,80 and 90s without a balanced budget is base of the national debt and now the spending since 2008 has for the most part shored up the stock market and real estate and thus where most baby boomer wealth sits today.
Baby boomers have seen adversity in their lives to be sure but also the most opportunity to grow business and wealth their whole lifetime for sure more then their parents and so far more then their children or grandchildren. Still time for their children to see similar growth but the window is shrinking fast and maybe baby boomer grand children will have similar opportunities to grandparents.
This really isn’t a farm issue or farm estate is a small percentage of this baby boomer picture but somehow the family farm is always mentioned in these discussions on a national stage. We get played from both sides as a nostalgic American ideal to score points. | |
