Subject: RE: So to the ones that preach USDA

Northern Illinois
the problem with a conspiracy is that it requires everyone to remain silent. If USDA has been intentionally fudging the numbers as a way to screw the farmer and keep food prices as low as possible there would be many people who would have to be in on the fix. The USDA is for the most part a non partisan department. This conspiracy theory has been around for many years. At some point I would have to believe that someone would come out and expose the conspiracy to the public. As far as I know that has not happened. As far as I know nobody has come out and screamed to the world that USDA is fixing the numbers in order to overstate the production of agricultural products or to understate the consumption of agricultural products. Until there is a whistleblower from inside the USDA with proof that there is a conspiracy I will continue to believe that USDA makes a good faith effort to accurately provide information.
